Global
Impact has taken the initiative to start the Tree Seed Bank, a dedicated cause to
preserve the forests of today for tomorrow. We have started to collect
seed from the Hardwood and semi-hardwood forests of North America in an
effort to regenerate the loss of forests from clear cutting and to
educate the land owners to take the necessary steps to preserve our
natural resources. We hope to extend our cause throughout the world.

Alternative Energy
Sources of alternative energy are
endless. Though the ultimate source would be Hydrogen, the cleanest fuel around.
Hydrogen combines with oxygen to form H2O after combustion. What more could we
ask for than this marvelous alternative. Hydrogen will be a future fuel, but it takes vast amounts of energy just to crack the water molecule.
Many
methods are now being researched. Catalytic conversion via enzymes, biological
methods, and of course the old style of splitting the molecule by means of electrolysis
using an alternative energy source such as electricity, using solar cells and hydroelectric power.
These methods are still very crude and inefficient but it looks like we could be
standing on the edge of a new beginning if it can be done cost effectively. Fuel
cells are the next best thing and their popularity is growing like mad.

Other alternatives such as Solar,
Wind , Biomass, Hydroelectric, Geothermal, and Fuel cell technologies are
some of the other options that are being worked on .
Global Impact is dedicated toward the advancement of biomass technologies as
well as hybridized systems that work symbiotically. One such example would
combine the capture of gases and heat through the use of a biomass system in
combination with the fuel cell technologies to produce energy to self sustain an
agricultural operation, a home, and or industry. This is just one of many
projects that Global Impact has in the planning stages.
Bio fuels are an alternative such
as biodiesel. There are many people around these days running their vehicles on
vegetable oil. These vehicles are better known as veggie van or the Grease car.
