FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
REFORESTATION A TIME TO PLANTTrees, so powerful, grasping firmly to earth, resting gently against the wind, stretching up to touch the sky.
Reforestation is a culture that has been practiced for decades, maybe longer. Although it still has more importance today than ever, and could have had a tremendous impact had it been practiced in the past. If they knew what we know now, back in the day of Christ, about the importance of our forests, and their interrelationship with the entire environment, the cedar forests of Lebanon would still be standing as beautiful as ever. To imagine those forests and what they were and or could still be like, but what is left but desert. without our forests there would be desert. Please help us in our effort to establish and maintain The Tree Seed Bank in an effort to reforest the indigenous tree species of the world Informative Links Rainforest losses can we change the trend? http://www.urc.ukans.edu/News/Oread96/OreadDec6/page5/terwilliger.html
Trees help clean the air of excess carbon dioxide as well as many other pollutants. If a radical reforestation plan were implemented. This reduction in CO2 could help reverse the trend of Global Warming. http://www.ornl.gov/CGES/BFinding/reforest.htm http://www.enviroweb.org/edf/dosomething/whatisbeing/whatsbeing_reforest.html
See why we need to start planting now, when the rest of the world needs to start importing wood as our own forests diminish. http://www.landassurance.com/Reforestation.htm
